Set high above the rainforest, this remarkable family villa feels like it rises from a garden of Eden, surrounded by sweeping ocean views and layers of lush jungle. Tucked into the hillside of Manuel Antonio, the home offers a rare sense of immersion in nature while remaining close to beaches, wildlife, and local attractions—an ideal setting for a family vacation in Costa Rica.
The main living level sits nearly 40 feet above the jungle floor and opens on three sides to the rainforest canopy. From here, nature becomes part of everyday life. Hummingbirds visit nearby flowers, monkeys leap through the treetops at eye level, sloths move slowly through the branches, and toucans and scarlet macaws glide past daily. The view stretches across the Pacific to the iconic peninsula of Manuel Antonio National Park, where small islands dot the ocean like a living painting.
The entry-level great room is designed for togetherness. Multiple seating areas invite conversation, while a long dining table seats up to 14 guests, complemented by an additional table for six. A wet bar and refrigerator keep refreshments close at hand, and the chef’s kitchen—slightly set apart—features an indoor grill and restaurant-quality oven, making shared meals easy and enjoyable. Just beside the kitchen, a comfortable sofa area offers a relaxed spot for movie nights or downtime after a day of adventure.
Soaring 24-foot post-and-beam ceilings shelter the space from sun and rain, while ceiling fans and constant ocean breezes keep the room naturally cool. Thanks to Manuel Antonio’s mild tropical climate, this level remains open and airy year-round, allowing families to live indoors and out truly.
A newly built wing adds even more flexibility for families and groups traveling together. This space includes a fully air-conditioned second living room with floor-to-ceiling glass walls and a vaulted ceiling, creating a bright, comfortable retreat surrounded by bamboo and jungle views. The lounge features a large-screen TV, wet bar, and a convenient half bath, making it an ideal hangout space for kids, teens, or adults looking for a quieter place to relax.
Just outside the lounge, a second ocean-view pool offers a more intimate setting that’s perfect for younger swimmers, peaceful afternoons, or giving different generations their own space. Covered parking nearby adds convenience and easy access to this new area of the home.
The new wing blends seamlessly with the original villa, allowing families to come together for meals and shared moments, while also providing the option to spread out comfortably across multiple living and pool areas.
Stairs connect the levels below. One floor down, the master suite enjoys ocean views, a private deck, a king bed, seating area, and a spacious bathroom with soaking tub, double vanities, and stone shower.
The next level features two air-conditioned king bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. One includes a bathtub and dual vanities, making it especially family-friendly. On the jungle level, the main pool and pool house create a lively hub for daytime fun.
Below, additional bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements ideal for families traveling with children or teens. All bedrooms throughout the home are air-conditioned for restful nights.
The main pool combines two experiences in one: a long lap-friendly stretch for swimming and exercise, and a larger, natural-shaped area perfect for kids, games, and social time. A waterfall adds movement and sound, enhancing the tropical atmosphere.
The pool house includes a wet bar, refrigerator, full bathroom, and flexible sleeping space, making it a favorite gathering spot during the day. The second pool, located by the new wing, offers a quieter alternative for relaxation or younger children.
Located on gated Pacific Canyon Drive—one of Manuel Antonio’s most desirable residential areas—the villa is just minutes from restaurants, shops, and activities. The beach is a short drive away, and the town of Quepos, known for sport fishing and local culture, is nearby.
This is a home where families can reconnect, explore nature together, and enjoy the best of Manuel Antonio—without sacrificing comfort, space, or privacy.
