Things to keep in mind

Weddings

There is a site fee of $2000 that applies if having an event like a wedding at Saltwater Haven, maximum capacity for an event is 70 people. The site fee can be reduced $250 for each additional home rented from a select group of homes. The chef services included in the rental rate do not apply to an event like a wedding, a catering service for the event can be arranged for through your coordinator. The site fee does include additional staff to assist with moving furniture and a maid for 4 hours during the event to help keep the bathrooms and general area picked up. The site fee does not cover the cost of any equipment rentals such as chairs or tables nor does it include coordination services. The site fee will be paid with the final rental payment 30 days prior to arrival.

Chef services

Chef services included are included for 2 meals a day, cost of food is additional.

We can also offer you a meal plan with local food and soft drinks, no lobster and no shrimp, for $300 per week per adult. With local beer, rum, and wine also included the rate is $375 per week per adult. For children 6-12 years old the rate is $150 per week per child and for children 5 and under it is free with a minimum of 8 adults in the package.

Bedrooms not rented will not be offered to anyone else
Occupancy is based on 2 people per room until all bedrooms are rented

Payment policy

To reserve this home we will send you a rental agreement email. This will hold the reservation for 3 days for us to receive your reply email agreeing to the terms. Once we have the reply email we will give you another 7 days for us to receive the first 50% deposit. The remaining 50% payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival.

There is a damage protection fee of $120 due with the final payment.

For payments we can accept VISA/MasterCard or wire transfers.For any charges made to a VISA/MasterCard there will also be a 6% surcharge.

For any wire transfer that we receive there is a $40 flat fee. If paying by wire please email us and let us know the name on the account that the transfer originated from and when it was sent, it will take up to 48 hours for the wire to be reported to us. If you or the bank you are wiring from have any questions please contact Fernando Mon-Fri at 888-818-2097.

Cancellations

If you have to cancel we can refund your deposit minus a $300 processing fee so long as we are able to re-rent the dates for the same amount of the original reservation. The longer we have to do this the greater chance you have of getting a refund.

You can also choose to have us hold your deposit towards future dates within 18 months of the dates on the original reservation. This will not incur the processing fee like the refund policy but we must be notified at least 4 months prior to the reservation dates to be able to give you credit.

If you cancel within 4 months of the reservation dates a possible refund or credit to the future are only possible if the reserved dates are re-renting for the same amount as your original reservation.

Our stay in Quepos was truly unforgettable, thanks to this incredible Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beautiful surroundings and the home’s warm, welcoming ambiance. The location couldn’t have been better – just minutes from Manuel Antonio National Park, with easy access to beaches, local restaurants, and the lively town center of Quepos. The Airbnb itself was immaculately clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, from a well-stocked kitchen to comfortable beds that made for a restful night's sleep after long days of exploring. The views from the balcony were breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset – it felt like we were in our own private paradise surrounded by lush greenery and the vibrant sounds of the rainforest. Our hosts were exceptionally helpful, providing detailed recommendations on the best local spots and activities. They even arranged all tours for us, which added a special touch to our experience. It’s clear that they put a lot of thought and care into making their guests feel at home. If you’re looking for the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, this Airbnb in Quepos is the place to stay. We left with so many wonderful memories and can't wait to return someday. My family and I had the best time. The house was beautiful, spacious and had an incredible view. The only thing that topped the house was the service. Chef Junior and his wife made us food that was better than restaurants. And they are two lovely people. David, our host, was great. We booked activities daily and every single one David connected us with the best guides…best by far. We saw other guides around us and we were very, very happy we had our guide instead. The housekeepers were great. All of the service was wonderful. My sister put it best when she said “if we had all the money in the world at our disposal, we could not have planned a better vacation”. Thank you for giving us such a great experience.
