In the middle of paradise with beautiful views!
Very cool house.
Loved our time in Costa Rica!!
Amazing Time at Casa Samba!
The house offered ample room for our group of 11. The main floor features the kitchen and dining area, along with the pool and covered lounging space, which is where we spent much of our time together. Many afternoons after excursions were spent lounging in the pool, grilling on the patio, or simply relaxing and enjoying the space as a group. Most afternoons and/or mornings were spent on the patio enjoying watching the monkeys swing in the trees, macaws flying by, or the iguanas lounging by the pool. Truly a nature lover's dream.
The second floor, with the pool table and additional lounging area, provided incredible views and was a great place to gather for drinks while watching the sun go down.
Notes:
The beds were comfortable, and the water pressure and temperature were excellent. Housekeeping did an outstanding job keeping up with laundry, towels, and bedding throughout the week. The grounds were immaculate, clearly reflecting the care and upkeep of the staff.
Our host, Andres, couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful during our entire trip. He assisted us with a great attitude all week. There were times when he probably could have rolled his eyes at some of our requests, but he didn’t hesitate and always made sure we had what we needed.
Carlos, the concierge, did a fantastic job helping us book excursions and ensuring our trip went off without a hitch.
Fernando helped make sure the booking process was smooth and was also extremely responsive.
Lastly, we utilized the chef services for three days (two meals per day) and weren’t sure what to expect. Our group appreciates good food and hospitality, and if you’re on the fence about booking the chef—don’t be. It’s a must-do. Chef Jorge and his sister, Kim, were incredible. Jorge prepared several outstanding meals for us, and Kim helped organize and set everything up for our group. They truly helped make the trip memorable with great food, service, and conversation.

Our concierge, Andres, was incredible. He was responsive, proactive, and always one step ahead. He made the entire trip effortless and completely stress free. Chef Hairo was phenomenal. Every meal felt like a five star dining experience in our villa. The presentation and flavors were exceptional.
The villa was beautiful, but the service truly made the trip unforgettable. We cannot wait to book with Escape Villas again and will absolutely request Andres and Chef Hairo.
